I'm back. It has been very long.
I'm back. It has been very long.
(sorry this took a while. Busy)
The woman was then gone, disappeared after some time. Sebastian was put on a boat heading towards a haven, the Hoodrick city of Rythley. The Hoodrick there are welcoming to Vengir immigrants like him. The city was peaceful, comforting even. Then, he saw her…
The temple was massive in comparison to the city. It was more spacious, and more bronzer than the outside of the city. Heh, Ankolilumaoki has quite a way with bronze. The chieftain was sitting on his bronze throne, Artur by his side. Ollie look at me with concern. Was I gonna do this? Yes, I was. “Hello, Sebastian,” said the chieftain in his booming regal voice. “What brings you to Ankolilumaoki?”
“Ever heard of someone names Kalsi? Apparently one of his champions stole his soul stone,” I said. “Kalsi?” The chieftain was shocked. “Him? His champion took over one of our temples! Are you after him?” “Well, yes.” I spoke. “I might guide you to the temple. Take this map, follow it greatly, DON’T LOSE IT. Understood?” “Sir, yes, sir!” I replied. “Good…”
We left in a hustle, following the map to the temple. All the way, we were bumping into people on the way. We didn’t say sorry (because who says sorry) and we ran to the temple. It was not quite far; it was two miles and, boom, we were there. It looked quite run down, the bronze coating was not quite there, and the overall vibe turned from festive to no-tive. It looked almost abandoned if it weren’t for the multiple Cymanti scattered all over the place.
Ok, this might be more challenging then I thought.
Me and Ollie sped run through the Cymanti (and if anyone makes a speed run joke, I swear to Vengir I will break your legs, because it was not a fun time). We finally got past the wall of Doomux and Hexapod and Kiton and those annoying flying Phychi. Now you know that the champion is an entomologist, heh. Worse of all, the bugs were either spiky, a pain in the bass, or worst of all, they were constantly buzzing. Therefore, I should quit. But I don’t. Sadly.
We finally reached the temple steppes, but not before I smelled an aroma. Ollie smelled it too, and it smelled bad. Because of this we passed out… We woke up in a dusty place, all of our hands were tied up. We could see metal bars…
We were in a cell.
We were prisoners now.
Oh boy.
Sebastian saw the woman’s glory. She was brave and strong, who somehow saved him from the evil caravan. The other Vengir prisoners surrounded her as she said her name. Wendir Vengence… All the prisoners began to bow before her. Sebastian didn’t bow. Why would he bow in this situation?
The Okiva Festival was immense. Food, games, and multiple activities scattered the festival. Me and Ollie searched for the chief, who was nowhere to be seen, except for the huge pyramid. This wasn’t anywhere close to Kickoo village. Quetzali? I think so, but Ollie said this was a Kickoo settlement. I started to get nervous, but I brushed it off as just another worry.
We walked towards the temple, where we thought the chief was present. But the guards stopped us. “Stop! This temple is off limits to outsiders!” The guard put his hands out. “Can you tell us why their Quetzali here,” Ollie asked the guard. “This used to be a Kickoo refugee town, until our chieftain came, with his fellow Quetzali. The Kickoo praised the chieftain, and soon they started wearing bird masks. And then, this town of Okiva was now ours to take! Now can you go now!”
“What can we do in order to walk in,” I said. “I’m telling you,” The guard said, “This temple is off limits to outsiders! Unless you can prove yourself, I can’t let you in.”
“Oh reaallyy,” I said, pulling Vengence out and trying to slice his neck. However, the guard blocked it. The guard made a smug face, and then shoved me off. “That’s an impressive sword. En guard!” The guard tried to stab me, but I dodged it. I threw Vengence at the lance, and it knocked it out of the guard’s hand. I kicked him onto the floor, and the guard was laying there, in front of the temple.
“Your good,” The guard said, exhausted. “Tell me, where did you get that fighting style?” “From my grandpa,” I said. “Jasper Midnight.” “Jasper? The one and only?” The guard looked at me with excitement. “I used to work with him. I’m your godfather. Or supposed to be your godfather.” I put Vengence up against his neck. “What’s your name, peasant?”
He had a shocked expression in his eyes. He looked hopeless. “Artur, sir. Captain Artur,” he said. I remembered him now. He was my uncle, before the invasion of Xasturot took me away from him. He was the best uncle in the world. My favorite in the square…
“I proved myself, didn’t I,” I said. “Yes,” Artur said. “I’ll take you to the chieftain. Just to warn you, he’s not that nice. He’s in the temple, follow me.” We went into the temple, ready to meet the chieftain.
Sebastian’s caravan ride was brutal. Prisoners from all over the wake of destruction caused by the Yaddak was painful for him. So far, life was treating him to brutal punishment. But then, something happened. The caravan stopped, and the doors opened, revealing a woman. Sebastian did not know who she is…but he wanted to find out.
I pulled Vengence out of its sheath and charged at the Doomux that were swarming us. Fortunately, Doomux are easy to kill, since there so weak. Unfortunately, Doomux are HARD to kill, since there fast. Their fast but so weak.
I still cannot believe we traveled ALL this way just to enter a Cymanti forest. I REALLY hoped this would be the place where Ankolilumaoki was, but noooo. Or maybe, this WAS the place, but overrun by Cymanti? What if this champion of Kalsi has some control over Cymanti bugs? Now I’m curious.
As I striked down the last of the Doomux, I looked at Ollie, signaling her it was time to get moving. We decided to leave our tents behind, because… I don’t know the reason. We were in a rush, and we forgot our tents. Sad.
The forest was immense. It was dark, we could hardly see, we could hardly move because it was foggy, and it was damp (which didn’t help us). Ankolilumaoki was nowhere in sight. “Ollie!!” I yelled to her. “Where the heck do we go!?” “I have no idea!!” Ollie yelled back to me. “Go through the trees!! They can’t follow us there!!” The trees… Perfect. We rushed through the trees, slicing down them with Vengence.
I also thought about Xastu. he… no, he wasn’t a HE. They were a girl. I’m certain of this fact now that I remember it. Xastu died, didn’t she? I don’t know, it was a long time since I was in Xasturot.
Eventually, we made it out of the darkness of the forest. The light shined on us, revealing a sight to behold. A temple, with bird mask wearing people. It was a thriving civilization, many tents and many foods. They were throwing a festival, with many people celebrating. This was like The Skull Party, except different. This was… Ankolilumaoki? No… It wasn’t corrupt enough. Refugee Town?
“Hey Ollie,” I said, as I turned to her. “What is this?” Ollie looked at the sign that was on the wall next to a set of stairs. “This town is… Okiva?” She pulled out her book of town names, and she found Okiva. “Ok, apparently Okiva is a Kickoo settlement turned Refugee Town. It was settled by authorities of Ankolilumaoki, because they needed to expand their reach. But when the first champion of Kalsi took over Ankolilumaoki, the rest of the citizens not under Kalsi’s control, they headed over to Okiva to live there in peace.”
“If that was the case, maybe they can help us find Ankolilumaoki,” I said to her. “Maybe,” Ollie said, “but we have to gain there trust first. Let’s go do some activities at their festival. Maybe we can prove to them that were strong, and maybe they’ll give us information about Ankolilumaoki.” “Alright,” I said, “But if I get my head on a spear, just know that’s your fault.” We walked towards Okiva, to somehow prove ourselves.
Good.
Excited af!!!
SEBASTIAN MIDNIGHT & THE SKULL PARTY Part 4 coming soon.
(Its finally here.)
Victoria and Sebastian were some of the best siblings they can ever be. That is, until they were separated by mass destruction on Xasturot. Sebastian’s pain didn’t stop there, as he got captured by a Yaddakian caravan. Sebastian was alone.
Everything of that training was brutal
Day 1 was exercise. Not bad, easy. Day 2 through 4 was hitting training dummies. Still very easy. It was Day 5 through 7 that broke me. I had to do an obstacle course, fight bandits, and dodge attacks. I got hurt so many times that it’s not even funny. Seriously, I had to dodge, block, swing, kick, and punch for so many hours until I got it right. Days 8 through 10 were kinda ok. Victoria taught me how to think about my surroundings, because you never know when an enemy is right behind you. That was kind of breather for me.
Once the 10 days were over, me and Ollie were ready to find this first champion of Kalsi. At the gates of Leepodeeki, Victoria walked up to me. “Remember this, Sebastian,” she said. “Think, don’t charge.”
Lame.
We waved goodbye to Jalim and Sierra, who were staying at Leepodeeki to tend to the citizens. We then headed out of find Ankolilumaoki, which was a tortuous task. Finding this forest far from Albina Ridge was a task. We looked everywhere. Eventually, we decided to go to the Mono Monastery, which Is the place we fought Kalsi/Exilgeluss, to see if they have any advice, but they didn’t. They DID give us, however, a map to our region of the square, the Sway Coast. And sure enough, there was a map, of the forest that were supposed to go to.
Were on the right track.
Finally, hours of walking later, we finally got to the forest where Ankolilumaoki was. It was so hot, that I was glad I didn’t bring my Vengirian helmet. Ollie didn’t have a problem with the heat, since she is an Oumaji Princess. She’s delt with this kind of stuff before.
It was nighttime, and Ankolilumaoki was still miles away. We decided to set up camp in order to keep ourselves warm and safe.
“Hey, Sebastian,” Ollie said. “What is Xasturot?” I paused for a minute, trying to think of the best possible answer. “Well, its complicated,” I said. “Xasturot was named after a great warrior. A legendary one, best in the land. Xastu was his name. He started his settlement back then. But then, he died for reasons that are still unknown to me. Xastu’s followers began naming his settlement after him. And Xasturot was made.”
“Is there anything else?” Ollie looked at me with concern. “Well, you see-“ Our conversation was interrupted by a rustling noise. Then, a loud screeching noise came from those bushes. Something jumped out from the bushes and attacked us. Something bug-like, with teeth.
Doomux
Multiple Doomux.
I think we entered a Cymanti Forest.
Sebastian Midnight was a jolly soul. He lived a semi-normal life inside Vengir walls. He loved his family so much. But things have been hard, when leadership fell under someone terrible. Someone horrid. But Sebastian didn’t mind. He would rather live in his house, with his beautiful sister. They would play for hours. Her beautiful sister would always be in Sebastian’s mind. Her name was…
“Victoria?”
“Yes,” the Ai-Mo said. “It’s been a while, hasn’t it?” “But that’s impossible,” I said. “Your dead! How could this be?” “I wasn’t dead,” Victoria explained. “I escaped after the destruction of our hometown. You remember Xasturot?”
“Vaguely,” I said. “But I guess it’s good to reme-“ “No time, Sebastian,” Jalim said. “Now, about that soul stone.” “Yes,’ Victoria said. “I got word that, supposedly, the soul stone is in a temple somewhere beyond Albina Ridge. But the Ai-Mo mind bender that made the report went missing yesterday. I heard that someone is holding him hostage in Ankolilumaoki.” “But isn’t that a Kickoo village,” I said. “It was,” Victoria said. “Until the first champion of Kalsi took over Ankolilumaoki.”
I could see the sadness in her eyes. It was pretty clear that Ankolilumaoki wasn’t a safe place anymore, ever since this first champion of Kalsi took over.
“Well, lets go and find this champion of Kalsi!” I started walking towards the forest, but Victoria grabbed me. “No,” she said. “It’s to dangerous. We need to train you for this occasion.” “But I defeated Kalsi himself! The neo-god, who was trying to take over the square!” “I know,” she said, “but you still need to train. You’ll stay in here for 10 days. Just focused on training. Now, hit those training dummies, Sebastian.”
Once again, I hear my name, I stop resisting and start doing what I’ve been told.
Those were the longest 10 days of my life.
The Skull Party, a mythical event where family and relatives respect the dead. A lot of food is prepared, and the hosts, DeVengence, are willing to partake in this kind of event. It’s a special occasion, where the dead goes to the realm of Hirkthr, to live a normal life. Here, a young man with brown hair is looking outside to see the festivities around. His name is Sebastian Midnight, a part of the Midnight family, who along with the DeVengence family, is the most longest living family for years. Sebastian is proud to be a part of that family.
I had to live on a mountain for 10 whole days with Ai-Mo people and my Ai-Mo sister, who got separated from me years ago, just to find, and prepare for, the first champion of Exilgeluss. We left off our journey with me, Sebastian Midnight, and my girlfriend Ollie Both, who is my girlfriend and a former champion of Exilgeluss, just defeated the neo-god with wizards, named Jalim and Sierra. They reign in the big bad north, where the Yaddak live, and they live in the city called Arbergekhkol. Me and Ollie live in a settlement called Cthgorimrot.
Anyways, we left of with me receiving a text from Jalim. So, two weeks later, I got a text from Jalim about something urgent, telling me that someone stole the shard containing Exilgeluss. So, I went to Ollie’s house to discuss about this text. But Ollie wanted to start with something important. “You know that it’s pronounced Exigeluss,” Ollie told me when I knocked on the door. “Oh. I guess I was wrong about my pronunciation. Oops,” I said. “But you’re also right about the pronunciation. Apparently, from a book I read, Exigeluss and Exilgeluss are not one in the same.” “But that’s impossible,” I said.
“No, its not. You see, Exigeluss is the god of wealth. Exilgeluss is a neo-god. By the way, Exilgeluss is what he wanted other people to think that his name was. His neo-god name is actually Kalsi.” “Why did Kalsi wanted everyone to think that his neo-god’s name was Exilgeluss?” “That is a mystery not in the books,” Ollie said. “Now, c’mon, what’s about the text?” “Oh right,” I said. “So, we need to go to some Ai-Mo mountain, because the soul stone containing Exil- I mean Kalsi is missing.” “Really?” Ollie looked surprised but looked kind of ready for this. “To which mountain?” “Albine Ridge,” I said. “I know where that is. Let’s go.”
We hitched a ride to Albine Ridge, far away from Cthgorimrot and near Arbergekhkol. When we got there, we climbed stairs until we reached a wooden gate. Jalim and Sierra was there. They greeted us, and Ollie told them about Exilgeluss’s neo-god name being Kalsi. Sierra and Jalim looked confused, but Ollie’s explaining made them less confused.
We went into the settlement, which was called Leepodeeki. The Ai-Mo greeted us, then their leader came, which was a female. She greeted us with a smile, but asked me a strange question. “Do you remember me?” “What, no,” I said. “Make sure to remember the paths of your mind, and make sure to remember, Sebastian. Remember that night, Sebastian?” When someone says my name, I knew they were important to know, so I decided to focus on my mind.
That one night…I had a sister before, but I couldn’t remember who. Then, I remembered, from the bottom of my mind, her name.
@NoobLiveCam k.
@NoobLiveCam mmmhmmm
@NoobLiveCam I really hope lol.
Yay.
@Aetholis1 Exigeluss? i never knew that. woops. thanks for correcting me on my mistake.
The smile on my face was shining in excellence of how the soul shard was able to trap a human body, or even trap a god. Bzkkan would be proud. “Well,” Jalim said, “We’ll take this soul shard to our headquarters. But…the crowns are still there.”
He’s right. The nuklet and the deshret were still there, just sitting next to the soul shard. “So,” I said, “What do we do now?” “Well,” Sierra said. “I could put it on and see what happens!” “NO!!!” Ollie and Jalim screamed. “Just kidding,” Sierra said. “But what do we do now?”
While Sierra said that, the faintest essence of Deshera was lingering in my mind, even though the rotting carcass smell was gone from my mouth. Then, it hit me. “It’s a trick,” I said. “Deshera and Hijra want us to see what to do with them. They love watching us mortals scramble in fear”
“Well, you right,” Sierra said. “Even though I would love to be a literal goddess, I would rather be a figurative one.” Jalim snorted. “Well,” Jalim said, “We should keep in contact. Me and Sierra have to go back to Arbergekhkol. We’ll see you around someday.” The magical Yaddakian teens transformed into birds and flew off into the sunset.
Then, they were gone.
“Hey, Sebastian,” Ollie said. “Yeah?” I took her with question. “Remember the day when we first met?” “I remember it well,” I said. “You and I came over to that island with Imrz and Argor and that woman with the child to save that DeVengence family member. The blood and the screams filled my whole entire mind. It was horrible.”
“Yeah, it was,” Ollie said. “But…I’ve been trying to tell you something ever since we met. But you didn’t listen. You see…I used to work for EXILGELUSS.”
I could not tell you how far and how fast my heart sank into my stomach. My awesome girlfriend used to work for a god. No wonder Ollie had the same aura as Exilgeluss.
“But I can explain,” Ollie said. “…do it,” I said. “Ok, so, when I was a Oumaji princess, my mother died from a raid. A Yaddakian raid. It was horrible. Then Jason stole the Book of Hirkthr and became Exilgeluss. He needed protection, so he hired me and other people. He hired 12 champions. He hired the most notable ones like me and you’re legendary Zebasi grandfather, Jasper Midnight. Exilgeluss told us to destroy cities. I didn’t want to do it, so I ran away, but Exilgeluss caught me and threw me far away in a Vengir prison. Then I met you, and we broke out, and went to Wendir, that DeVengence lady to help her on her mission. Then, from a dead blacksmith, you got your sword with magical powers that you named Vengence. Then, we fought in that war, and when it was over, we both went home. There you go, Sebastian. Anything else you want to know?
“No,” I said. “That’s enough. But my Grandfather? And you?” “It’s a long story, but now let’s go get some bacon cheeseburgers.” “…ok,” I said.
We went to our favorite burger place, just outside of town, and grabbed my favorite bacon cheeseburger. After what happened, who needs immortality? Two weeks later, I got a text from Jalim about something urgent, telling me that someone stole the shard containing Exilgeluss.
Uh oh. That isn’t good.
The End
“My name is Wendir. Wendir-” she paused. “...DeVengance." Time seemed to come to a halt as everyone looked at her, their iron stares piercing her like arrowheads. My Vengir mates walked twords her. I almost flinched. I couldn't stand the thought about.
I closed my eyes.
When i opened them, My vengir mates was kneeling down to her. I had to admit, this was some of the WIERDEST CRAP i ever saw in my entire life. When they got back up, they introduced thereselves.
“Nikam Bzkkan, at your service,” the man said, “and here we have Xastu, Buck, Argor, Seb- Midnight!” Nikam looked straight at me, while I was in the middle of cutting a dead corpse's hair off.
*some of it was taken from The Last Of DeVengence from Murb281, go check them out, their amazing.*
Aight. sorry for asking.
