Riding is a Tier One technology.
It unlocks Riders, which are fast but weak units that can move after attacking.
Riding expands into Roads and Free Spirit, which expand into Trade and Chivalry respectively.
The Oumaji start with Riding.
If you are playing as Aquarion, Riding also unlocks the Amphibian, a special unit replacing the Rider that can move on water.
