The Battle of Polytopia Wiki

Welcome to The Battle of Polytopia Wiki, the official wiki for the strategy game The Battle of Polytopia. This is a collaborative encyclopedia, which anyone can edit, about Polytopia's game mechanics—including tribes, units, technology, and Easter eggs—and community.

The Battle of Polytopia is an award-winning, turn-based 4X strategy game with low poly graphics. Players lead one of sixteen tribes, explore the square world, build cities, develop technologies, and engage in combat to take over the mythical land of Polytopia. The game features single-player and multiplayer game modes.

Battle Preview Introduced

The latest update introduces the new Battle Preview feature!

Did you know that Polytopians can sweat?!

Your enemies will shake in their boots now that you're aided by the new "Battle Preview" feature! Now you can gain a glimpse of the future before you attack! Just look for the sweat over enemies you can kill with the next attack, or the scary black and red rings under enemies that will kill you if you try to attack them.

You can also tap and hold on enemies (on Mobile devices) or simply hover over enemies (on Steam) you can attack to get a more clear readout of how the battle will end up.

Now, go conquer your foes with this new information!

Kickoo Tribe Moon

When you live in an archipelago, fish tend to be your primary food source. The Kickoo believe that the elaborate system of movements and rhythms of the mystical "Pelona Fish Ceremony” encourages schools of fish to enter their waters for easy harvesting.
