About the Game
Ai-mo-sample
The Battle of Polytopia is an award-winning turn-based world-building strategy game developed by Midjiwan AB. Lead one of fifteen tribes in a quest to conquer the square world! Balance your military, training Units to engage in Combat and capture enemy cities, and your economy, upgrading your cities through developing the surrounding terrain. Research technologies to help your conquest, but be warned that technological research costs more and more as your empire expands! Use your technologies to increase population, upgrade cities, and produce more Stars, then use those stars to research even more technologies and train even more units! Play a quick single-player match, striving for the highest possible score in 30 turns and a chance to get on the global leaderboards in Perfection or ruthlessly destroying every single opponent tribe in Domination, or a thrilling multiplayer game, with players around the world online or your friends and family in Pass & Play!

Official Description

The Battle of Polytopia is a unique turn based strategy game about ruling the world, fighting evil AI tribes (or other players), discovering new lands and mastering new technologies. You take on the role of the ruler of a Tribe, starting with one advantage over the other tribes, and attempts to build a civilization in competition with the other tribes.

Wander in the dark cold forests of Barduria, explore the steamy Kickoo jungles or claim the lush field of the Imperius empire.

Each match takes around 30 minutes to complete while still providing a deeply strategic and challenging gameplay. It is intended to be a bite sized alternative to other time consuming 4x strategy games.

JUNE IS THE KICKOO TRIBE MOON!

When Kickoo sailors aren't sailing, they prefer to play sports! Footraces, wrestling, and canoeing are common, but the most popular sport is Hak'ilani, which is similar to tennis but played by 4 players on a specially-made floating platform. Don't fall off!

POLYTOPIA SOON TO BE RELEASED ON STEAM

Wishlist The Battle of Polytopia on Steam! The Steam version is set to release in Summer 2020. It will cost $9.99 USD and include all 12 regular tribes. (Special tribes are available for purchase separately. If you already own one or more on mobile, you unfortunately will have to purchase them again.)

Matchmaking is greatly improved in Steam, with the ability to play random matches and add friends by their username. Cross-platform multiplayer is supported: Steam players can play against mobile players. However, your Steam multiplayer account will not be tied to your mobile multiplayer account.

Furthermore, Steam introduces a Sandbox mode and a “Custom Game” option (in addition to Perfection and Domination). In custom games, you can change the amount of water (through presets like dryland and archipelago) and the number of opponents to your liking! Moreover, the largest map size has increased from large (324 tiles, 18x18) to massive (625 tiles, 25x25). This allows you to play against all of the other tribes at once.
